Official Registration Process, Documents & Complete Guide

⚠️ Registration is Mandatory for 2026

As per Uttarakhand Government guidelines, online registration through the official portal is compulsory for all pilgrims planning to visit Char Dham in 2026. No entry without valid e-pass.

Go to registrationandtouristcare .uk.gov.in and click on ‘New Registration’ or ‘Register for Char Dham Yatra’

Enter your mobile number and create a strong password. You’ll receive an OTP for verification. Verify your mobile number using the OTP.

Complete the registration form with accurate information: Full Name (as per ID), Date of Birth, Gender, Address, ID Proof Details (Aadhaar recommended), Email ID

Medical fitness certificate is mandatory for pilgrims above 60 years. Get it from a registered medical practitioner. Certificate should be recent (within 15 days). Upload clear scanned copy (PDF/JPG, max 2MB)

Choose dhams you plan to visit (Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, Badrinath). Select tentative travel dates. Provide vehicle details if traveling by own vehicle.

Review all entered information carefully. Accept terms and conditions. Submit the registration form. You’ll receive confirmation via SMS and email.

After successful registration, download your e-pass. Take printout of the e-pass. Carry both digital and printed copy during yatra. E-pass must be shown at check posts.

RC copy if traveling by personal vehicle

COVID Certificate

Vaccination certificate (if mandated by govt)

Before Registration:

During Registration:

✓ Complete registration in one sitting

✓ Save registration number immediately

✓ Download e-pass after confirmation
